Patrick’s 72 C-10 LS2 Sleeper
For this project we are transforming a family heirloom 72′ C-10 Pickup, purchased new within the family, into a reliable and fun daily driver for 16 year old Patrick. Patrick has also decided to get dirty lend a hand with his pickup transformation wherever possible. KMC will be working diligently along with Patrick in an attempt to both teach and of course to give him back a very cool ride. The plans entail an 06′ GTO ls1 mated to a 4l65E auto trans up front complimented with an Eaton posi and new 3:73 gears Outback. A fully stainless exhaust with QTP electric cutouts, cross flow radiator with dual electric fans, and a Dakota Digital electric gauge cluster with analog style gauges. The Pickup will also get a trick new Pump-in-tank fuel cell transplanted below the bed freeing up cabin space and transferring weight over the rear tires; with that new positraction unit trust us he will need it! In the end this will be one cool cruiser with an even cooler story behind it.
